I LOVED this wedding! Ashley and Ryan are AMAZING! I loved there wedding! We all had so much fun and OMG Zedler’s Mill is hands down my favorite new Central Texas wedding venue. The place is incredible. It has wonderful outdoor nature components. It has a very Texas feel and it is 1/4 of the price of most of the Austin venues.

Emily and Matt got married this weekend and I photographed the wedding. The flowers were primarily orange roses and the tables were covered in teal cloths. It was a beautiful wedding!

Wild Rose Hall : Wedding

This is my last wedding of the year! Tricia and Miles were the perfect way to end a great year. The Inn and Wild Rose Hall provided an excellent backdrop for this wedding. The weather was perfect and Tricia looked stunning in her strapless dress and cowboy boots! The ceremony was held as the sun set – which was beautiful. A string quartet was lead by the brides young cousin. They did a wonderful job! The reception featured a mix of country music and swing classics. Guests danced late into the night! I photographed this wedding solo. I usually only photograph weddings solo if there are going to be fewer than 40 guests. I was exhausted by the end of the night, but every once in a while it is nice to work alone.

The Wildflower Center provided a wonderful backdrop for this very classy wedding. The colors were fall inspired with lots of oranges and yellows. The service was officiated by the mother of the groom which was wonderful! During the ceremony there was a very cool reading done by everyone present AND the words to the reading were printed on wildflower seed paper. Meaning – you can plant the paper in the ground and wildflowers will sprout. So cool.

Jamie and Demarion got married at the home a family friends who live on Lake Travis. I love small weddings and this one was no exception! Jamie looked amazing in her JCrew dress and I loved all of the peacock inspired details. A close friend did the officiating and then we headed outside for some photos. Guests enjoyed dinner on the patio overlooking the lake and then everyone headed back inside for cake cutting and some dancing!

The Barr Mansion is one of my favorite Austin wedding venues! They serve all organic locally sourced food and the grounds are gorgeous! This wedding was extra special for me because the bride and groom are old friends. I met Annelies in high school and Ben entered my life just after college. It is hard for me to imagine a more perfect couple! They are so clearly in love it brings me great joy.

This wedding featured bouquets, boutonnieres and table decorations made from fresh vegetables – asparagus, flowering cabbage and eggplants, hydrangeas and orchids.

This wedding had it all – an old truck, cowboy hats, mason jars, cigars, and a photobooth! The ceremony was held at All Saints Episcopal – my home church. Which is great, but they do not allow photograph so I had to get a bit creative. The couple drove from the church to the reception in Carolyn’s dad’s 1959 ford truck. How cool is that? Guests were given mason jars filled with tasty drinks as they enjoyed cocktail hour. Dinner was buffet style and featured potato enchaladas among other things. The reception music was provided by a DJ and the event was lit beautifully by Illios. The lighting company set up lights to shine in the windows which made the room feel warm and inviting. Sledd Weddings provided a photobooth which was a hit, and made much more fun by the props the bride provided. Another great wedding!
